What does your workspace look like?

What's your workspace look like? Do you have a dedicated space? Or are you clearing off the kitchen table? How do your store your supplies? Have you found cool ways to get great spray paint finishes without a spray booth? How do you incorporate safety and, when necessary, ventilation? What sort of tools do you typically use and where do you keep them? If you have a dedicated space is it always neat as a pin or does it often look like a hurricane strolled through? Do you prefer to work in your space alone? Or is it better for you when you're able to work with friends? Would you be interested in having "tours" of your space somehow virtually with the members here?

I have two work spaces. I have a basement that is mostly dedicated to my foam and prop making. It always looks like a hurricane has hit it. It has a bunch of cabinets and a dedicated sink so that it awesome. I had a flood a little (well a long) time ago and I never replaced the flooring because I found it wonderful not to have to worry about getting my floor dirty.

I also have a sewing room. I just redid this room and am so in love with it, it is wonderfully cozy to work in. It is a shrine to Ikea Kallax shelves and tables and even a change table. My sewing room is small so I store most of my fabric in a room in the basement and only have what I am working on or use often in my sewing room.

As far as spray painting I have a small bathroom in the basement that hardly ever gets used so when I have a big painting project to do I mask everthing off with plastic painting drop cloth, including all of the wall spaces. The bathroom has a window that opens so I a put a large fan in the window directed out to remove as much of the fumes as possible. And of course always wear a respirator.

I love all of my work spaces.
