If you go to their webpage and then click on the "BE A MEMBER" tab you'll find out all of the information you need to join the fun! You do not need a costume to join, however, in order to participate in public group events, you will need to have one. As well, they do have membership dues as well as require a Police Information Check (PIC) with a vulnerable sector check.
As a note from myself, some of you may be wondering why they have such stringent checks, including the PIC. This is due to the fact that they are handling money for charities. Other large groups like the 501st, Mandos, Rebel Legion and 405th here in Alberta do not ever directly handle money. When they fundraise it is with the charity physically being there to collect the donations. The Alberta Ghostbusters, are also registered under the Societies Act here in Alberta and therefore they have a lot of rules and regulations that they have to comply with in order to hold that registration. So don't be afraid of all of that. They are an amazing group who do really fabulous things for charities in Alberta!
